LA York Girl Home
Having been born and raised in LA I recently made the move out to NYC and it’s been an adventure. Here I will share my stories as I navigate my way though the city and try to make NYC a place called home.

The Calm Before the Storm
You would never guess by looking at the city on Friday that a hurricane was coming. I even laid out on the roof and got some sun.
So Hurricane Irene did not do any physcial damage to my apartment but the city wenta little nuts. Trader Joe's had a line to get into the store!
The subways also closed down for the weekend so practically nothing was open. I went a little stir crazy in the apartment just waiting for something to happen. The city was DEAD and it felt like any other rainy day. I am so thankful I am safe and that it is over. Sean and I survived our first "hurricane" together. Though it was a lot of hype and I was wanting to see a little action.
